The XCM has turbo functions for buttons, but I wouldn't use them competitively.  Only for button-mashing games.

But if by "cheat" you mean "use the superior 360 controller" then yes.   ;)

Back on topic.

It's a shame this PSN disaster happened the week Portal 2 and the awesome Steam integration launched on the PS3.  In the longrun it probably doesn't matter, it's just bad timing (as if there's GOOD timing to have your service attacked  ;D).

At least they got a free PC copy of Portal 2 to keep them entertained while waiting for PSN to rise from the grave.

I'm not a PS3 fanboy anymore than all you 360 fanboys who can't stand superior consoles....... oh wait!  :-)

Failed

I can stand a superior console, but they havn't released any games for the Dreamcast in years ;)

GamerMan316

Nice! :-) speaking of superior consoles, where's my Atari Jaguar?? ;-)

Failed

Jaguar was mint, you could change your guns on Doom without having to cycle through a dozen crap weapons.

I owned a jaguar for a few months and was pleasantly suprised with how good it was, i'm sure it was replaced with a better console though, maybe a playstion or an N64 ???

tis a long time ago, especially in gaming world as i've played shed loads of games since then.

seriously though, its not nice that card details have been lost, but now isnt it time sony introduced a points system like microsoft, to prevent this

PSN does use currency cards.
Microsoft also stores people's credit card #s as well.

The only real difference is that Microsoft apparently has tighter security, which is understandable since they have decades more experience with software & network security.

There's also the possibility that this whole Sony PSN failure was in inside job, which is a different problem altogether.

This is why I only ever use a temp visa for live if ever I need to,being that Ireland only has visa/mastercard and prepaid card options. This was all over sky news last night ,kinda feel sorry for psn gamers its not cool at all.As for an inside job weren't sony trying to bring some guy for the original hack to court? It's very possible of course it may be a disgruntled employee or whatever but the reality probably sits more in the court of ''Sony just got Tangoed''.

The last I heard, they settled the case out-of-court.  I would be surprised if this PSN failure is related to GeoHotz.
