As bad as all three of those games are (maybe terrible and a complete fucking disgrace is a better way to describe all of them?) Squenix are only publishing Deus-Ex, they don't have any hand in the actual production of the gae. So it should be safe enough. Then again that Squenix logo does have a detrimental affect on everything it touches nowadays, so who knows? D:

Yes Last Remnant. It was awful. Just like every single thing they've made since they ran out of good ideas and started retconning the sh*t out of FFVII.

A few years ago, if they'd made Superman 64 I would've gladly paid double price for it.(slight over exaggeration, but you get my point) I loved them, they couldn't do wrong.

And then they messed around with established FFVII canon ...

Don't get me wrong, I am a big FFVII fanboy, or I used to be anyway. And I hope everyone who had anything to do with the Compilation catches AID's just off the back of that. But aside from their obvious failings there, they haven't put out a single game worth playing since FFX, and even that was only just worth playing.
I DO want to like them, I used to think they were the best company ever, but nowadays ... there's nothing about them worth looking at twice.

Oh, and gameplay-wise, Dirge was actually playable. Story-wise, yawn.

i like Dirge, but i don't remember the story. I'm also a massive fan of FF12

It's not worth remembering, you're better off that way. I forgot about FF12, that was a good game, I have to admit. It had its flaws, but it was good.

I have fond memories of pouring hours into 12, i did everything you could on that game, i'd have easily got the 1000G.
