The best thing about this game so far is that the people making the game have specifically pointed out that Square-Enix have had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with production of the game, and they will only be publishing it. Which is great, because Square-Enix are the ABSOLUTE WORST games company in existence right now. They can't help but ruin everything they touch, which is sad because they used to be my favourite games company until they ruined FFVII, then everything started to go downhill.
Caps were ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to show my MASSIVE HATRED of all things Square-Enix these days.

Deus Ex 3 is being developed by Eidos Montreal, not Square Enix they're publishers.

The only 3 games they developed were Final Fantasy 11 and 13 and the excellent Last Remnant.

Tri-Ace is an awesome wing of Square-Enix and make some of the best RPG's.

Square publish a lot of Eidos and Activision games in Japan. Including the Call of Duty's

and the excellent Last Remnant.

that's debatable...stupid game... :(

it's easy to gimp your characters by fighting lots of low level monsters. This'll ruin your game, you need to constantly fight mobs that're too hard.

Lucky for me, I still haven't started playing Last Remnant.  It will be the next JRPG I play once I finish Lost Odyssey.

Just read up on the level system before you start, the game is VERY good but it's easy to go wrong.

Good advice.

Before taking on the task of any JRPG, I usually skim a couple FAQ's to prepare myself.  I've been burned one too many times in the past to pretend like I know what I'm doing when I start a new JRPG.   ;D

Thanks to this habit, I am on my way to getting the various collectible achievements in Lost Odyssey which would have been impossible if I wasn't aware of them from the start.

Wait, with the exception of FF 11 (which, being an MMO... Who cares?), aren't those other two games kind of failures? Last Remnant got mixed reviews and had a lukewarm reception, and FF13 is considered to be one of the worst games in the series... Super! Just the people we want handling our beloved PC game franchise Deus Ex!
