Isn't the 360 game the third in the series?

It used to be an old 2D SNES shmup. Although the 360 version is the 3rd game in the newer series starting with Monster Attack(PS2), Global Defense Force(PS2) and then Earth Defense Force 2017(360). Although all games are known as Chikyû Boueigun Surî (googled as i can never remember) in Japan.

Theres also a new Global Defense Force Tactics, that i only heard about 2 weeks ago that seems newer, but is obviously a tactics game. It might become the first PS2 game i've played in a good years time.
