Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions pre-order gets 4 new costumes, 'signature charge attack'

We may only know about two of the four Spidey settings to be featured in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension, but that hasn't stopped GameStop  from announcing that pre-orders of the game (on any console) will get access to a Cosmic Spider-Man costume (which can be equipped in each of the game's four "universes"). Like in the comics, the extra-superpowered state of Cosmic Spider-Man will enable a "signature charge attack" that's exclusive to his costume, regardless of which world you're Spider-Manning around in.

Since GameStop didn't release an image of the Spidey iteration from its (presumably exclusive) pre-order bonus, we've dropped a picture of the totally rad Cosmic Spider-Man action figure above -- it's gotta look something like that in-game, right? And no, it's not a "doll." It's an action figure.

I remember the 'Cosmic Spidey' storyline back in the early 90's.  It was really bizarre.  For some reason he gets Mr. Marvel's powers (which are not spider-like at all) and starts fighting all of the supervillians in the Marvel Universe.

It was almost as awkward as Spider-Hulk.

(I actually own this comic  ;))

The last time I priced my collection (over 4 years ago) it was worth almost $10,000 (£6,583).  However, over the years I've probably put more than that into it.   :D

I am Jealous your collection still exists! I think the worst thing was my mum didn't just throw them away she gave some of them to my cousin who fucking drawed all over them thinking they was puzzle books or something! I still haven't forgiven him.....

Anyways I could bitch and moan about this all day long  :'(

Sounds like fun, we should go them one day, over a bottle of wine and dinner, and maybe a chick flick  ;)

10 hours to complete sounds like rental fodder to me
I will wait for a price drop as my 4 year old likes to watch me play these and he wont let me trade them on

I hope it's a sequel to Ultimate Spider-Man, but I'm sure it's gong to be a crap sequel to the crap Web of Shadows.

Now that Marvel has the financial backing of Disney, they really need to be more picky about their videogame IPs.

its going to be disneyfied music, singing and dancing-i'll have a tenner on it. dont get me wrong , i love mary poppins, but spiderman the musical ???
