As well as a new design, it sports a removable internal 250GB hard disk as standard, and has integrated 80.211n Wi-Fi.

If it's the same shape and size as the original HDD then i'll get one, if not, then there's no point as i won't be able to take my HDD into work with me. Unless ofcourse i buy 2 of them.

Old HDD not compatible with new 360.

bloody typical. I buy a super elite thinking, brill, now i own the best version of the 360 out there, and I'm all happy and stuff, then they go and announce an even better one!!

Yep and at exactly the same price and in stores in a month, sods law my friend. 

Though like Failed has said, need to know just how reliable they are before rushing out to buy one, at least with the newer Elites, we know they are far better than the old Premiums and Arcades in the reliability stakes, the new Slim 360 should be super reliable but you never know with MS.

Very true. And mine runs silent anyway - well if the games on the hard drive it does

I'm in line right now (j/k).

I will probably buy this if it comes with a sweet bundle/rebate offer.  I've purchased 3 Xbox 360s so far, each came with a sweet deal that I couldn't refuse.
