Nintendo 3DS UK launch colours confirmed

A Nintendo 3DS trailer shown at yesterday's European launch event in Amsterdam has confirmed that the console will be available in two colours from launch.

The platform holder will launch the system in 'Aqua Blue' and 'Cosmos Black'.

3DS is due for release in Europe on March 25th.

Nine titles set for day-one, retailer claims

Nine games will be available to purchase on the UK's 3DS launch day.

That's according to punters who've pre-ordered their handheld at GAME, who are reporting phone calls from the retailer to alert them of the following titles due out on day-one:

    * Nintendogs + Cats
    * Super Monkey Ball 3D
    * Asphalt 3D
    * Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars
    * Super Street Fighter IV 3D
    * Rayman 3D
    * Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars 3D
    * Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D
    * Pro Evolution Soccer 3D


GAME's details are in line with an MCV report last week that claimed around ten titles will be available at UK launch, including Street Fighter, PES and Nintendogs.

It should also be noted that the three Nintendogs SKUs technically take the launch roster up to 11.

Nintendo UK GM David Yarnton told CVG last week that the firm was still nailing down UK 3DS launch titles, though these look pretty much on the money to us.

i saw one in action on a screen at gamestation. It was impossible to see the 3D effects, but the graphics looked to be a huge step up from the DS. Unfortunately the games will probably be very expensive, so i will most likely give it a miss for that reason.

Just wait for the inevitable influx of new R4 cards and illegal downloads.

she hates bloo, but not as much as the other colors. It was a case of the lesser of several evils... damn evil color, if it's not pink then it shouldn't be a real colour!!

gamestop is only offering it in nasty bloo or plain black :?

ill just stick some twilight stickers on it or have Colorware paint it in pink....
maybe just the twilight stickers, i really dont wanna spend 170$ getting it painted.. hmmmm....
