I normally buy pre-owned. Look for the good deals. I don't mind waiting for a good while to play a game rather than buy brand new, I have a good 6-7 games I've never even put into my Xbox, And god knows how many I've still got to finish, So it's hard for me to justify paying £40 for a new game.

Technically speaking, she is doing more to support the developers than us cheap arses. Publishers and developers don't see a single dime from the used game market. Kind of a crime, really, but I still want my $5 off.

plus i have had bad experiences with used sh*t, rather get it new. then i dont have to worry about it defecting or not getting a DLC code. kthnx.

I agree.  Sometimes the $5 savings isn't worth the extra time/mileage/frustration it can cause.  At least for newer titles.  If a game is more than a year old, I'll buy it used since a 'new' copy may not even be available.

I bought my PS3 used because I wanted full backwards compatability.  But I bought an extended warranty with it so it's 'like' new.  ;)

I would never buy a used console unless it had a decent warranty and if it was a 360 i would have to make sure it had the jasper chip set, as to avoid the dreaded RROD

All new 360's have a different chip set inside them from the older models, which massively reduces the risk of getting the red ring of death.
