2.  Preserve this forum's existing threads and posts if possible.
3.  Use the URL www.360fahrenheit.com as a direct link to the forum.
4.  Extort donations from everyone to keep ads like off of our forum.

From April - September I have plenty of time to take care of most of the backend work, so I can get everything setup before Tara's "self-demotion".

From October - March my job consumes my time, so someone else will need to take care of most of the maintenance work.  It's shouldn't be very difficult since the current homepage will not exist anymore.  The forum will be the only thing to monitor.

I've been here 3 years and made a lot of friends and I don't want it to dissapear.
It'll probably be best to keep all this going,perhaps Tara can sign over the site rights to me and someone else so we can keep it going.

I've spoken to Tara and Neato a little about this. Such sad news but I completely understand Tara's decision.

I am prepared to help in any way in keeping the community together, Technically I am useless at things like web hosting, So there is not much I can do on that side of things. If we/some want to buy the rights to this site then I will be prepared to do that, And obiously I would help keep the forums active.

We have a few months to sort things out between all of us, Who is prepared to do what.

I'm in agreement with the others.  The monetary cost is not the problem just the admin and daily running of the site/forum.  I too no nothing about these things but I'd hate to have to find a new home to talk shite and waste away the hours.
