Not neccessarily an achievement, but I unknowingly unlocked a bunch of avatar items by browsing the Halo Waypoint preview (full release is Nov. 5th).

I guess Bungie is using Halo Waypoint as a means of providing unlockables for past Halo achievements.

I've hardly played my Xbox through the summer and my last achievements were way back in June! That was before I popped in the old Gears 2 disc last week and got myself 3 new achievements:

Crossed Swords
Won 10 chainsaw duels
   10G
Acquired 2/11/2009

Rookie Gear
Reached level 5 in multiplayer
   10G
Acquired 1/11/2009

Dirty, Dirty Horde
Team survived 10 Horde waves
   20G
Acquired 1/11/2009

It's not much but I'm on the road to recovery

Been playing WET, got;

Hard Time (50G)
Finish Story Mode on Fixer (Hard) difficulty in WET

16% of WET owners have achieved this. Played through on Hard from the start, wasn't too bad but i died plenty.

I enjoyed it, unlocked Golden Bullet mode, gonna give that ago tomorrow. It plays like Stranglehold with some big cinematic car chases and set pieces. Was good fun.

The 2nd level is awesome, car surfing ftw.

I enjoyed the Wet demo so i added it to my Lovefilm list straight away, just gotta wait for them to send it me now, i'm currently running through Heather Mills' favourite game Bionic Commando, might go for the 1000, gonna finish it on Normal first then decide whether to bother with the hardest difficulty.

i'm going for them right from the start, the awful thing about this game is that if you miss one & go on to another level, you have to start the whole game again

least if you miss the collectables on WET theres a level select when you finish the game so you can go back through. Although there's only 5 per level (45 total) and they are pretty easy to find even without the awesome guide i found on xbox360achievements.org

Gears Of War 2 - Party Like It's 1999 - 30G

Never thought I'd get that one when I originally bought the game.

Just complete Year 5 in Forza 3. That was time consuming , but worth the 50g.

Also manage to complete Horde on two maps to level 10 by myself and got the Ride It All Night Long and Be Careful What You Wish For achievement.
