Looks like i'm in the minority again on this one, just like how I thought the PS2 was a crap console, I like being a minority, I am ginger afterall.   

With you on this one mate. sh*t is an understatement. Two of my exes have loved the games. When I audition for the next one I'm gonna make sure she shares my hatred of the game.

I played The Sims and The Sims 2 on my PC and enjoyed them.  I thought about The Sims 3, but decided to shell out the money for my 360 Slim instead of buying a new computer that would run the darn thing.  I might not get this as soon as it comes out because I am getting Fallout: New Vegas next week, but I think I will let my sister and her husband know that I want this for Christmas.

By re-reading through this thread would it safe to assume that this game may interest the female gamer more than a male one?

I'm after a game that I my missus can play bearing in mind that all she wanted to do in AC:Brotherhood was ride the horse around and use up all my parachutes?!?

If you managed to have Sims 3 at the top of your 'recent played' list, that would have been epic.


On a serious note, I was a quasi-fan of the Sims (2?) on the original Xbox.  However, once I realized there was no clear conclusion to the game, I couldn't get myself to play it anymore.  The same reason I stopped playing WoW.

My 2 sisters actually asked for the Sims 3 for Christmas, so I bought it for each of them.  However, they quickly returned it when they realized they couldn't play it together online.  Xbox Live has spoiled them.
