I think there are even some games that have NEGATIVE achievements that actually subtract gamerscore.  I might be mistaken but I recall seeing some people complaining on xbox.com forums.

that's not true neato, you can get 0G 'Negative achievements' like dieing alot in MP (see Darkness, FEAR)

I must have misread those complaints.  Sometimes it's difficult to know exactly what people are upset about over there (xbox.com).  

Things are so much more tranquil over here.
