Since they're using their own in-game Avatars instead of Xbox Live Avatars, I wonder if the Avatars will be able to do M-rated actions?

I think in the Xbox version you actually are using the Xbox Live Avatars.

Mortal Kombaaaaatt is apparantly Pretty Gooood!

Or so sayeth the reviewers who, via Metacritic, are giving the game an 86 average. That average is taken from 17 reviews. For komparison, Marvel Vs Kapcom 3 earned an 85 average from 76 different kritiks.

Giant Bomb in partikular gave Mortal Kombat a perfekt 5/5 (they gave MvC3 a 4/5).

Portal 2 looks good, but I have doubts as to its staying power.

damn, i was hoping it was gonna get crap reviews. I can't afford this for a good long while yet

edit - damn it i just read game informers review, 9.50, i really want this now!! If anyone fancies throwing down on umk3 in the mean time i have that.

I played about 30 minutes of the Story Mode last night. Pleasantly cheestastic.

The only throwing down on UMK3 I do is at the arcade, the way it was meant to be!

And by that I mean I go to local arcades and punch people playing the old UMK3 machine (and then run away).
