Telltale Games will revisit classic films for new videogames.

Telltale Games will be creating episodic games based on Back To The Future and Jurassic Park.

Telltale Games is fresh off the episodic release of Wallace & Gromit for Xbox Live Arcade, so the studio is no stranger to the format.

Telltale hasn't yet revealed what the games will be called but we do know that they'll be released this winter and that they will tell new stories for the respective films.

"I think it's a prime time to reintroduce these properties in the digital world," said Dan Connors, CEO at Telltale Games. "Telltale Games has always set out to be a great storytelling company. We've been honing our chops over the past six years, and we're ready to take on these two iconic properties and continue to advance storytelling in games."

"The games are going to exist within these worlds," said Connors. "I wouldn't call these games sequels per se but a new interpretation of their worlds for a new medium. For one generation, it's an introduction to these series. For another generation, it's a thing they can look back on and something they can share warmly with their family and friends."

episodic = BLEH!

now a Jurassic Park game where you can be humans or dinosaurs (like AvP did) .... that'd be fun

Back to the Future release avoids Xbox 360
Time-travel adventures coming to PC, Mac, PSN and iPad

Telltale has released three behind the scenes videos for its upcoming Back to the Future adventure game, which won't be coming to Xbox 360.

Picking up shortly after the events of the third Back to the Future film, the title will see Marty and Doc embark on a completely new time-travel adventure across five episodes.

PC and Mac versions of the game are expected to debut in December, followed by PSN and iPad releases.

The first behind the scenes movie features Bob Gale, the co-creator, writer and producer of the Back to the Future film trilogy, and Christopher 'Doc Brown' Lloyd talking about their involvement.

In the second video AJ Locascio, the new voice actor for Marty McFly, talks about his ability to emulate Michael J. Fox and how he got involved with the project.

In the final video, director Dennis Lenart goes into detail on how Telltale is handling the games.
