My days of competitive clan gaming are long gone, I used to care about platinums on the ps3, but the xbox is just for fun! And I've only got 2000 points to spend for a while

me too, it was good and bad, boosting sucks and playing crap games just for points is meh! I still play a lot of games, but mostly stuff i want too.

I have avoided many games since i finished my scorewhoring ways, most recently Toy Story 3 and Prison Break. I may play them one day, Toy Story 3 looks good fun and Prison Break seems interesting but not enough to drag me away from my current games even if they will only take 6 hours to finish.

If you do finally play Prison Break, don't try doing the game without being caught on the hardest setting, it's bloody annoying!

Games are fun, Enjoying your games is better than a big gamerscore in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love what MS done with achievements, And maybe if I had the time and money to really work on a big gamerscore I would make more effort to raise mine, But I don't let getting achievements ruin games for me, I'd rather play a game the way I want to play it and have fun with it.
  I have nothing against people chasing big gamerscores but for some of us it's not important, Playing and having fun is the most important thing, It's why we love our gaming in the first place right.

If it's a game i really like though i will go for all the achievements (like DTR: Retribution) or if it's a game i have most achievements  in and is a bit meh! i will finish it off if i can (like Dig Dug).

I agree with Sambo.  I play for the fun of it, and if I manage to get achievements while I'm at it, that great.  As to Horde tonight, I might be able to make it.

Do I need to get the "all fronts" map pack for tonight? If one member does not have the maps does that not restrict what the whole party plays?

I may be online, but since there's only room for 5 for Horde I'll only play if there's room. As for achievements, as I said at the beginning of the year, I'm playing for fun this year BUT if I can get some achievements now and again I will, it's always nice to see that message "Achievement Unlocked" pop up

Might get them anyway as it says you get an extra campaign chapter, am I the only one who needs them?
