Game night change ?

General discussion on changing game night from a friday, keeping it the same or perhaps having 2 or more official nights.

I'm happy with Friday atm, but wouldn't be adverse to another game night. Friday Game Night is like a heritage, something we've always had.

Maybe a setup like this

Wednesday casual night, where we play a random game and a few people turn up. Games that not everyone has but 5ish people might turn up
Friday would be a mainstream night playing CoD, Gears, RDR etc. Big games with 10+ peoples

I think we should keep Friday game night , but maybe we could have a random night were we can play an old game or try something different to see if that game has enough players for it to be upgrade to Friday Nights.

Friday Night's are great but i'm also fine with any night except for Saturday Nights as i'm always out on a Saturday, i'll quite happily game with you all on the 5 other available nights.

The time difference between UK and US has usually allowed me to have my cake and eat it too. (is that an expression in the UK? lol)

I usually go out every Friday night, but since our Friday Game Nights are usuallly over by 8pm Neato Time, it rarely interferes with my Friday Night debauchery.

Universally, I'm usually home all day on Sundays, likely recovering from Saturday Night. This is probably when I do most of my gaming.

I play solo on most weekdays, but it's usually after most of you have gone to bed. If any of you UKers are mid-week insomniacs, you'll see me online most nights.

i go out Tuesdays, i've grown to dislike weekends out. I sometimes go out on a thursday too, that's a bit hit and miss. Saturdays i usually go to bed early as i'm up at 5am for work. Saturday is my Arcade/Indie night. Sunday is okish, but i usually have that Sunday feeling of being chilled.

Monday's a good night for me, as is Wednesday and Thursday (aslong as i'm not out)

Week days are usually no good for me as I'm usually asleep by 10.00pm.
Fridays and Saturdays are best for me-when I can get on and stay awake that is!

I say keep fridays, keep sunday horde night and lets add wednesday for random games. For instance i really want to play left 4 dead 2 with you guys as i need a lot of cheeves on it and some of them are easier to get with four people playing as the AI is hit and miss, as me and dfusioness found out last night when we went for the 'don't disturb a witch on the sugar mill chapter from hard rain' achievement. Every witch we saw the AI controlled Ellis bloody disturbed her. I also want to try things like cod 3, prey, and quantum of solace online. Wednesdays would be great

I've had the same problems. I decided to not play L4D(1 & 2) unless I have a full 4-player team, which means I haven't played it in a long time.

I like the Friday night set up, And the Sunday night Horde, As I work nights I can't game in the week, Saturday is my only free night. As we play big games 10+ people on Friday's, Saturday's I would be up for more specific co-op games, 2-4 people. L4D2, ODST ect ect

I've added a Wednesday game night, aslong as it's popular (in the context of weekday gaming) we'll keep it.
Currently it features fringe games for the first week.

I was thinking of doing themed nights on Wednesday. Arcade Games, Sport, Racing, Music, Team Based Shooters etc
Tell me what you think OR ELSE !!!

Tis also worth noting this is only a Trial, if wednesdays work well for a lot of people then we'll keep them, if they don't then we'll swap. So please post if you like Wed or not and any other ideas.

What time are we thinking of playing on Wednesday nights?

Once the football season starts i'll only be online after 9:30pm on Wednesdays due to Champions League games and such, same goes for Tuesday nights should we decide to play on those too.
