Game night change ?

What time are we thinking of playing on Wednesday nights?

Once the football season starts i'll only be online after 9:30pm on Wednesdays due to Champions League games and such, same goes for Tuesday nights should we decide to play on those too.

I like the idea of themes and rotating game selections.  That could give everyone at least 1 night per month to play their favorite game with everyone.


EDIT: Some nights will certainly be more popular than others, but it's far better than never getting to play a game you like just because it's not everyone's favorite.

9.30 - 11.30 sounds like a nice time although i will be on much later than that, especially as my daughter breaks up for the summer holidays next wednesday. No more stupid school runs for me

Perhaps we should do a certain game per certain Friday of the month? Like first Friday of the month is a gears night,2nd CoD night etc.?
You get the drift then everyone will know which game is playing when?
Then,last Friday of the month is random.Depending on whose birthday it is so they choose? So,next Friday is RSV 2 then.

Tis a good idea though (cept the RSV2 bit). Perhaps Gears, Halo, RDR, CoD depending on which Friday of the month. If there are 5 Fridays in a month then the 5th can be a repeat of the night most people turned up for.

Routine can be a good thing.

I do like the idea of not playing the same game 2 fridays in a row.

What if we keep our usual voting poll, but the game played the previous Friday is not a choice?  That way decisions are still democratic.  

My fear of a particular Friday reserved for a specific game, by chance some people may never get to play that specific game due to their personal schedules.  Example - every 2nd Friday of a month John Smith visits his family out of town.

But agreed on not having a paticular game every certain Friday, If we avoid playing the same game 2 weeks in a row and then just use the current voting system I think works best.

If I have a game I'll play it, doesn't really matter what night for me as I'll probably fall asleep regardless (before Failed says it). I'll just go with the flow.

Come around? I'd just like to be able to stay awake long enough to join in!Not only that,but what game do they all play after about 2 hours of said main choice? Hmmm?
