Theres 2 parts for the Beta:

If you preorder battlefield 3 through origin/ have LE Medal of honor code you are entitled to enter the a close 48 hour beta. Note you will not need the disc just the code.

You will receive an email from Dice/Ea in the next 7 days.

After the 48 hours closed is up all you do is download the Beta and play on Ps3/360/pc , it's free to everyone after the closed part.

There is some consfusion about consoles and MOH discs and the like, all that is needed is the code and then you download.

So in short if you preorder from origin/buy moh LE (you can order console games from there as well) you will get a code via email.(pc digital)

The only thing Im not sure on is if you buy the Limited edition of MOH in digital form for consoles will you get a code?, but if Im right there is no LE digital for consoles.

If you order a physical LE moh for console through origin, you most likely will have to wait until it arrives at your door to get your code since it's in the box.

I hope this makes sense. 

Either way you can play the Beta on 29th september after the 48 hours is up.

If you buy the Limited Edition of MOH through Amazon you would need to make sure the code is in the box ie best chance is a sealed copy. But you don't need to purchase anything at all.

Not going to source quote on this, but PS3 players will receive the Back to Karkand expansion one week before PC and Xbox users.
Strange dea,l though I can't see what benefit one week will give Sony. A week of testing for Ps3 players there I think!

No, it doesn't fit the tone of the game at all. Song is not bad though, Eminem and COD is bleh as well! but thats marketing for ya.

Love Eminem though, but sometimes marketing departments and developers are detached from another!

No disrespect towards BF3, but where the latest TV spot for [Rage] makes sense in terms of soundtrack and trailer, this one makes...well no g'damned sense.

Jay-Z's "99 Problems" -good song, nice visuals for a trailer but the mixture of both =

Since the bluray drive on my PS3 is slowly dying (wont read dual layer discs) i've decided that Battlefield 3 and Rage are going to be purchased for my Xbox. Sooooooooooo i'll be pwning you n00bs with my jet soon enough

Problems with disconnection to Ea servers:

Turn off Upnp on your router,should relieve that issue at least. God knows what 3pm tomorrow is gonna be like. Might get one match in tmw eve if Im lucky lol

Caspian border servers on pc have been relocked after the password was leaked. Looks like pc will most likely get it, console wait and see.

Seems to be mixed impressions of the beta so far, most complaints lie in either the Op Metro map sux/rush sux or Ea servers. One thing to remember is that the beta is seriously compressed on both consoles and pc ultra settings don't work.With the 360 specifically having two discs upon release the HD installation for both Multi/singleplayer will reside on disc one along with online content, considering this the beta looks quiote good.

From the footage of both ps3 and 360 player captures that I've seen , it seems like things turned out ok for Dice. Some flashing on screen and a bluescreen on the killcam, read that somewhere, no surprise this build was ready to go 6 weeks ago. So 2/3 pm for download I hope and then  I guess I'll see for myself. Can't wait, for those that have played it so far let us know how you got on
