I've been doing my best to get in to the multiplayer this weekend, I've been trying to ignore the piss poor graphics and I've even managed to get a few kills, but there are three things that are really really pissing me off...

1) Why the hell is there no spawn protection, or why doesn't it spawn you away from enemies when you spawn on a base like it did in Bad Company 2 (or in any COD games). I am getting sick and tired of spawning only to be killed straight away.

2) There are far too many obstacles that get in the way when you're trying to avoid being shot or generally move around. Some objects, despite being lower than apparent knee level, you can't even jump over (like some of the window fronts in Seine Crossing for example) meaning I die simply because my super fit and ultra skillful soldier can't manage to step out of a door!

3) Ignoring the rest of the shoddy graphics, the light affects are just abysmal, they are really off putting, and the light affects from the guns are particularly unrealistic, they just look like a big white doily!

I just cannot understand why people are enjoying this game so much, it's been so badly designed I'm surprised it hasn't dropped in price already. The only reason I haven't traded it in is because I forgot last week when it was worth doing, so now I may as well wait for the DLC I've already paid for.

There's spawn protection in Rush, just not in anything else. Needs it in CQ tbh. Not TDM or SDM though, as you should spawn on your team.

It's conquest I've mainly been playing. I appreciate if your spawn on your squad mate you run the risk, but if I spawn on a captured objective I don't expect to spawn in the middle of a firefight, or as happened this morning, next to an opponent with a shotgun who killed me within less than a second of spawning. I honestly feel this game has been badly rushed out, what was the point of a Beta if they didn't fix stuff like this?

Play Rush, they should give you 5secs respawn immortality. Like Gears give you 2 secs and spawn you 5mile from anything anyway.

Wow I have lemme see, 65 cq wins so maybe over 100 matches on cq and I've never seen that once. What map/maps was that on and were they european servers?

I'm trying to score-whore here, you guys need to stop tempting me to dip a finger into the glory of BF3 multiplayer. I've still only had 2 matches. One went terribly, the other I discovered how amazing tanks are against sniping-campers. Ended on the high note.

Man. I totally have the fancy limited edition version that gives you that DLC for free? Or does everyone get it for free?

I keep seeing clips of people doing crazy sh*t with planes and it makes me wanna drop everything and play. Too much pressure!

Pre-orders for the limited edition/ those who possess the limited edition (says on front of the box) get it free. If you check in the game menu>store>click on Back to Karkand and read the description it should say it's free for you to download when it's ready. For those without said Limited it will be available to buy on the same day across all platforms at $14.99 or however that works out. Psn get it on the 7th but we may see it on the 13th, even though they have ''week early'' deal, but what's another day eh!

I went to trade this in at the weekend but the most I could get for it was £15, GAME were only going to give me £12 because, and I quote "we've had a lot of them traded in"... "that's 'cos it's rubbish" was my response. So now I'm lumbered with a sh*t game I can't even get a decent amount of money back for. Note to self, unless it's got Gears Of War in the title don't believe the hype!
