i doubt stats will carry over, Battlefield 2 is an old game. Unless you meant Bad Company 2 ... but that's a different series.

Windedprism

no I meant stats from the Beta into the full game. Well still waiting ..sigh!....

Yeah I like the auto repair threshold and the disabled vehicle. No more chasing team-mates clicking  '' wait I can repair you'',

Damn can't even play BC2 cuz I lent it out!! well all in a good cause, hopefully I can drag at least one Cod player over from the darkside!!!

Another thing as well is the sun reflecting off the lens of scopes! snipers are gonna be thinking twice about camping! lol

New physical warpack trailer. Take a close look, is this console footage?

Tried to nail it from the hud but hard to tell. The look feels cleaner and if you look at the pc footage it's kinda grittier. The tunnel section at 0.28 seconds looks like a giveaway. But as always could be wrong  :P

you won't like Battlefield if your a fan of CoD.... CoD's easy and B3 is hard, requiring skill and team-work. Theres no knifing people in the foot here.

Jurassic Parky

COD is for kids..

Battlefield is for men.

Well because Battlefield offers so much more, from vehicles to teamwork. Many ways to score, many ways to play.

You think you can handle a weapon? try the demo/beta (still no date! sigh) and check out the recoil.

Cod is like a fast run and gun old style deatmatch and battlefield is like a mini battle(on consoles) and miniwar (pc).

Imagine as an engineer getting your recon guy to set c4 charges to your EOD bot and then guiding it in to blow up the enemy.

Mind you I don't know if c4 is exclusive to recon this time,I hope not.

First class hit detection,Bipods, Muzzle flash, Lens glint, tanks, choppers, jets, troop carriers, destruction, big maps, superb visuals, AMAZING sound, Balanced weapons, a game by a team that has been making multiplayers since 2002, and live and breath online. And not to mention the customization you can do with your weapons and vehicles.

Plus there's the co-op and the campaign which Dice have  put a lot of effort into.

AND AND AND

''Back to Karkand'' (and expansion not a map pack)

Featuring 4 maps that between them have over 25,000 hours played, plus more vehicles and weapons.

So eh yeah, there's a few reason! lol

Prism, thank u and big props for actually explaining it. I love to just run and gun in CoD, but i also would like to play a game similar where team work is paramount. Thats one of my biggest gripes abt CoD. Well this weekend im gonna go but Battlefield 2. Prism once again Thank you

Here's another little something, apparently it's 100 hours estimate to unlock everything for just one class. So thats 400 hours plus then the vehicles!! <<Bf3+Skyrim = a cheap year's gaming!!!!

tbh Slippy I got nothing against Cod but it just doesn't evolve. I love the vehicles and the variation in play of Battlefield. Nothing wrong with Cod per say , it just feels plastic by comparison. Compare Mw3 + Bf3 , even just the way your soldier runs when holding their weapon. In Mw3 it looks as if the gun is ''there'' on the screen, but in Bf3 it looks as if their is weight as it sways in the hands. I think if you have fun in the Cod world then keep playing that as well. No harm in having both. They're two different games, always have been, it's just the EA/Activision hype machines that have turned it into a marketing war. After all, variety makes the world go around :)
