Yes I did... it just looks really dated

Plus I can't get in to a game with my friends, only by myself... it's not filling me with confidence at the moment, back to Gears 3 now, might trade Battlefield 3 in tomorrow, it sucks!!!

JT hates games that have had a BETA running for a month yet the servers don't seem to let me in, didn't have this problem with Gears 3

Well what did you expect? It's not like you can buy a Battlefield game at launch and expect the servers to work, unless you are living in a dream world

Like with the last Bad Company games you have to wait a month or so for EA to get the servers sorted.

Was playing a great game of Rush last night, (the one where you jump off the mountain and parachute down) and LIVE died on me. Wouldn't load up after that *sobs*

TDM is shite, Rush is still the best experience on LIVE.

Well I finally got on, eventually. And all I can say is zero problems. The server browser works perfectly, haven't tried friends>into game>squad, so I can't comment there.But on the same server for bout 5 matches I was with the same squad. Really good. Only three maps I haven't played,Bazaar, Caspian and Metro. All conquest, Tehran does lag (a bit) like people have reported, but I love that map.Canals and damavand are the least impressive maps so far, but their not crap so to speak. Damavand was actually quite a tough match since the opposition took the tunnel capt with a tank straight away, so I sent my guys up to their base at C to capt and distract, worked well rather than headlong into the tunnel.

Destruction , in BC2 everything was razed to the ground pretty much causing capt points to be almost impossible for attacking forces and leading to an imbalance (imo), but the destruction in BF3 is not as obvious, but my god it is there very much so and when it happens it's so much more impressive. The notion that this is not a true Battlefield is ludicrous, there are plenty of vehicles to go around and plenty of space to play in. For the record on console all but one map (seine crossing on cq) the maps are the same size on console and pc. 1/2 extra capt points and some moved around etc for pc and maybe an extra vehicle or two or three!!. I've experienced nothing but good teamplay (and some mistakes!!)

On pc I can see where the possible clusterf**k of flags might aggrieve some players, but on console they've got it right.

The singleplayer is so so, looks and sounds great, but I can see the ''Too much COD''. Having a little fun with that so we'll see when I'm done.
I do love the characters in it though.

Co-op haven't got there yet!

After waiting all week and then all day to play, it kinda sucked not being able to start until 11.30pm (damn kids acting up, crazy this week must be a full moon). But in the end it was worth it. Players are not abusing prone, in fact it would suck if it wasn't there. Coming up against a tank all of a sudden and having no anti tank weapons, prone gives you that chance to dive and evade. So I've seen it used more tactically rather than being abused.

Hype was high for this game (thanks Ea!!). But Imho and this is just me Dice have pulled it off. Love it. Next round rush I think on Kharg that seems interesting. When a game is hyped so high anything less than ''feels like 2 next gens away, perfection'' is gonna seem like a deflation of anticipation. I know how that feels, DA2 I'm looking at you!

Overall no score, because Battlefield doesn't do ratings!!!

i loved playing Damavand, and shredding walls (and people behind them) with the mobile AA!

oh and killing someone who was hiding behind a wall, with a rocket launcher into the wall. Did it with C4 too (then got stabbed).

Try that in CoD

Well after a very frustrating afternoon, ive started to pick it up abit more now, and finally my kills are higher than my deaths.

Just a shame about my W/L ratio lost last 10 i think, but was top 2/3 mvp for most rounds.

The platoon's all got deleted, we need to start a new one.

Avoid TDM if you like K/D. Rush is still the best MP on LIVE.

My K/D always sucks but I make at least top three every time because I take all the flags a lot by myself mwhahaha but I'm getting better about killing and not dying as much I die a lot about every four matches though. But I have fun and it's just a game so I don't like to put stress on K/D like most COD games do.
