Everyone that would like to play Rock Band 2 on Wednesday post here, we will then put everyones name in a hat and divide them to 2/3 'Bands'. First out the hat is host. Hat will be drawn Monday Night.

Although I've got both Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour I don't think I'll be joining in on this one. I only like to play them in short bursts!

Rock Band 2 sounds great though i'm not singing and i'm not diggin my drums out of the loft so strictly guitar and bass for me.

Well sh*t on a stick, i have just bought rock band 1, the drum kit, and a GH3 les paul wireless guitar for a total of £50.00, and you all decide to play RB2 instead! Bloody typical! It's ok, i will go solo i don't need none of you anyways

I'm in for Rock Band 2.

I'm best on guitar, but I'll drum & sing - whatever's needed.

I have a tone of DLC, but we'll probably stick with disc/free content to make things easier for the group.

Well sh*t on a stick, i have just bought rock band 1, the drum kit, and a GH3 les paul wireless guitar for a total of £50.00, and you all decide to play RB2 instead! Bloody typical! It's ok, i will go solo i don't need none of you anyways 

1.  Buy Rock Band 2.
2.  Buy the Rock Band Song Export Key on Xbox Live Marketplace.
3.  Import the songs from the Rock Band 1 disc into Rock Band 2.
4.  Return Rock Band 1 for a refund.

Now you basically have Rock Band 1 & 2.

Good idea but i got rock band 1 off a private seller on play.com, so no refunds. Also the cheapest i have found rock band 2 is £20.00 and i can't justify spending any more money on games this month. I would have got rock band 2 if it had been a tenner like rock band 1 was, but at least i have the rock band 1 tracks. I will get rock band 2 next month and then i will do as you say so that way i will have gazzillions of tracks. Never mind, i will sit wednesday out.

i'll see if i can get you a Rock Band 2 tomorrow at the carboot i actually think i can remember a guy there last week with Rock Band 2 for £10. He's there every week so if he still has it.

I transferred all the tracks from Rock Band 1 to my HDD when I had it ages ago, sadly Enter Sandman doesn't transfer but then i've got GH Metallica so I guess it doesn't matter. 

I did the same with the AC/DC disc and will do the same with the Green Day one eventually too.

well i just had my first go of rockband 1 on the drums, i played radiohead's creep on medium difficulty and i pretty much nailed it first go - 90%. I guess i am gonna be awesome on drums   Oh and if ya see rock band 1 for a tenner failed that would be brill, i really don't wanna miss out on wednesday, it will be the first time i have.

Sad  don't have any music games ill have to sit this one out i will keep an eye open for a good deal on RB2 so there might be a Chance not likely just bought some psp games on eBay so gaming budget is taped for this month.

sorry dfuzz, the guy i thought who had it did have it last week for £12 but he sold it over the week .... he didn't have much. 400 car carboot plus outdoor market and no RB2
