Wednesday Theme Night - Music Night (August 25th)

Good news! I just bought rock band 2 for £12.99 in my local gamestation, so count me in for tomorrow night. After hating on music games ever since they came out i now own rock band 1, rock band 2, lego rock band (dfusioness bought it super cheap), rock band EL drum kit, GH3 les paul wireless guitar, and i have downloaded 5 dlc tracks already. I plan to get beatles and greenday rock band soon along with a wireless mic and extra guitar, and as I have some spare points so i will be exporting all my rock band 1 tracks to rock band 2 tonight, ready for tomorrow. I think i may have gone overboard 

Now if you get GH2 you'll have the best music game on the planet.

I did the same thing when I first got Rock Band.  Despite the fact I'm a Cheapy McCheapington, I bought waaaay too much Rock Band DLC.

You are probably right. I love rock band 1, now my band has split up it's how i'm getting my fix. Looking forward to trying rock band 2 and getting loads more dlc

GH2 was the first guitar game on the 360, it came with a wired Gibson Explorer guitar and is still the best of the bunch for me, don't be put off by the dodgy covers on the game, it's still quality and a good challenge on the higher difficulties.  Sadly the DLC, like with all GH games is pretty poor.  Rock Band is a million times better for DLC.

You are probably right. I love rock band 1, now my band has split up it's how i'm getting my fix. Looking forward to trying rock band 2 and getting loads more dlc

Personally i wouldnt bother with guitar hero at all mate. Rock band is where its at. As you rent maybe worth renting guitar hero 2 and you would enjoy knights of cydonia on GH3 too, being a keen muse fan

plus Through The Fire and Flames is essential playing on GH3.

I also went overboard when i got RB and bought lots of DLC. Although when i played RB last night, all i played was the DLC >_< even though i was gonna get some more achieves done.

cool, if Fizz is playing then if everyone turns up we will have eight people, just enough for two bands. Fizz will want vocal duties i expect and i want drum duty, so me and fizz just need a bassist and guitarist. Can't wait, i must remember to export those RB1 tracks tomorrow!

I can do guitar/bass or drums.  I don't have a real mic, just my headset, so vocals are probably out for me.

fizz will be using the headset, i tried it a couple of days ago and it worked fine. saying that oh crap i just realised it won't work as she will be using the headset to chat. Or will it? I'm confused now. If she can't sing she will have no probs jumping on bass i'm sure. then we will need a vocalist and guitarist. We will work it out i'm sure
