I'll always vote RB2.  It's the only music game I play ... at least until RB3 comes out.

YAYYY! My GH3 Wireless les paul guitar controller has just arrived. If i do get a chance to play RB1 with some of you tomorrow it means i can now play guitar/bass/or drums. I would prefer drums, but it depends how late we play cos until i get my unofficial but way quieter/more responsive/bouncier xcell silencer pads from rockbandparts.com they are very noisy!

Good news! I just bought rock band 2 for £12.99 in my local gamestation, so count me in for tomorrow night. After hating on music games ever since they came out i now own rock band 1, rock band 2, lego rock band (dfusioness bought it super cheap), rock band EL drum kit, GH3 les paul wireless guitar, and i have downloaded 5 dlc tracks already. I plan to get beatles and greenday rock band soon along with a wireless mic and extra guitar, and as I have some spare points so i will be exporting all my rock band 1 tracks to rock band 2 tonight, ready for tomorrow. I think i may have gone overboard
