WTF? I've added my points on xbox.com, then when I try to purchase All Fronts it asks me for a prepaid code? What's that about?

Don't bother with that mate, the prepaid codes are for reviewers apparantly.

I've just gone down this route on my console - Game Marketplace > All Games > G > Gears 2 > All downloads > Most Recent then All Fronts & it's finally downloading, it's a bit slow but at least it's working now.
Also a few people on my friends list are already playing on the new maps so it must have been available for a while.

The guns blazing option is pretty good, just like any Gears 2 level, the stealth isn't that good though, not being able to shoot things isn't fun

In addition to the DLC, there will be a Double Experience WEEK running from today until August 3rd. The bonus will only be in effect for the "Dark Corners" playlist, and ALL maps of Horde mode.

I was online for about 3 hours last night and only downloaded about 20%. Damn bullshit sky broadband!

That ain't good, took about 30-45 minutes yesterday afternoon for me, normally it would be quicker but it was very slow yesterday.

Depends what time of the day it's downloaded. If you download it at peak time, then loads of other people will be getting it too.

I'm gonna get it Friday... i've already bought a lot this week

Kill Epic employees in Gears of War 2 this Friday

Aside from initiating a week of Gears of War 2 double XP, Epic will also turn loose a few of its employees on the masses. The official site for the game reveals that ten different Epic employees will be playing the new Dark Corners playlist this Friday night, from 4pm ET to 7pm ET.

So, grease up your Lancer and be ready ahead of time.
