tbh i'm suprised anyone would get away with running two different 360's on one connection. I think your lucky that you get the service you do.

UK average is 6.5meg. Virgin promised you UPTO 20meg. No one actually gets it though.

we aren't paying for the uk average, those who have 6.5 or lower are usually paying very little for their broadband, those who are with the top 3 (virgin, bt and sky) and paying for up to 20meg should expect (and usually get) at least 7.5 - 10 meg on a good day. with sky's max broadband package we never had lower than 7 and it once got up to 10.5, when we had their lowest package it was between 4 and 6. with bt we had between 7 and 10 also. we are paying for max broadband with virgin and we should be getting at least what we got with sky (around 7.5) but we are only getting 6.5 on a good day. it's usually lower than that actually. i can't stream anything in hd or even watch video's on my dash at the moment, not acceptable when we are paying what we are. and as for the two xbox's on one connection - i know tons of people who do this and have absolutely no problems, my brother in law and nephew, sarge and his kid, sambo and his kid, red master and his wife my mate and his girlfriend to name a few. if you are with the top 3 paying for max broadband you expect to be able to run two xbox's as the norm, in fact bt actually say you can. I am sure we will sort it though, gonna upgrade our router and service to up to 100 meg. then we might get around 10meg  :D

rang virgin today, theyve done some line checks, and said there's no reason we cant run two on one connection, the problem lies with the phone line, faulty internal wiring, engineer is coming out in a couple of days, so we'll be back to normal, so i guess luck had nothin to do with it- just a broken phone box, oh and as for the uk average, line was tested and we were told after its fixed the max we will get is 12mbps

yeah they said we should be getting minimum of 12 max of 15 meg, as soon as we told them we were only getting between 5 and 7 meg they instantly knew there was a problem, lets hope it gets sorted soon because i can't even stream video on my xbox dashboard at the moment without it stopping to load every few seconds.
