Thanx guys for last night had a blast, sorry if i took anyones place enjoyed the banter and the conversation afterwards on kinect and 3D TVs was very informative even if everyone else didn't share our enthusiasm  , also will be sending frs to anyone new i met and feel free to drop in for a chat anytime you see me online, cheers again

listen ninja we have a rule, first come first served, so dont worry, i myself got booted the other night from party chat cos i didnt have the game, and neato did, and well its a long story, lets just say it took  lot for me to forgive him-but he did so were good !!  lets just hope the public matches dont put u off, especially if the others get host advantage, if that happens then you will here me proper swearing-my boys will back me up lol, anyway have fun and will obviously chat to u if i see u on here-u dont need to worry about that xx

I hear Microsoft / Epic are currently testing their "dedicated" servers with Gears 2 in preparation for Gears 3.  With any luck, host advantage may not be something we run into.

They've been doing that for a while now but they only announced they'd been doing it a few weeks ago.

They have been doing it since at least July because i remember the night i was close to getting my 100 we joined someones match, there was just him fighting bots and i was in a party of five, he left after a few rounds and the game continued so there was definitely some sort of host migration going on.
