Pinball FX2 is a "hub" game, similar to Hasbro's Family Game Night and the Game Room.  This means you can download the framework of the game for free, but have to pay for the tables separately.

One interesting feature I discovered is that if you already own the first Pinball FX on XBLA you can import those tables to the free Pinball FX2 hub for free.  Even better ... you can earn some achievements as well!

So download the Pinball FX2 game hub for free and dust off those original Pinball FX tables for some score whoring.

Shame the first Pinball FX game isn't available anymore.

Yep.   ;D  I picked it up a little while back and enjoy playing it although my Wizard score is no where near as high as Jaynestown's is.

Might have to get this, if it's as good as Pinball Dreams on the Amiga then i'll love it  :)

How much are the tables?

And my Superscore is nowhere near as high as D-Fusionite's...

Please anyone who is good at Pinball get this, beat his score and wipe the grin off of his face, he's been unbearable lately on party chat ;)

I'll get this later, used to love playing pinball games and I might as well use the MS points I got with Black Ops, not sure i'll be any good at it though!

I stuck around for a couple of hours last night in single-player, but never got close.  I did beat your score on one of the tables.   ;)

Marvel - ous news for pinball fx 2 fans!

The first batch of dlc for zen studios excellent xbla title pinball fx 2 will be hitting the marketplace some time this december. The fully licensed four table pack entitled 'Marvel Pinball' will cost 800 microsoft points and like the others will only be playable through the pinball fx 2 hub, which like game room is free to download. It can be likened to the four table classic collection and the new pinball fx 2 core collection in that they are planning to release 4 or 5 dlc tables for it in the near future which will cost 200 points each. Each table will  be based on a separate marvel comics character, with the initial batch being based on - Spider Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Blade. The 5 dlc tables for the classic collection are already available as they were released over the life span of pinball fx 1 but they are planning to release new tables for the core collection as well starting sometime in the new year with the ps3 tables 'Mars' and 'Paranormal' hot favourites to be the first two available. All tables will have three new acheivements worth 50 points.
If you haven't downloaded the game yet you really are missing out and if your a marvel fan like me you would be a fool not to get the new pack, nine members of this site already have fx 2 and are having fun competing for high scores and the coveted pinball king title, why don't you join us?
