With this Friday being Xmas eve and next week Being New years eve, I'll not be around for them, But in the new year I'd hope to get some good gaming in again on a friday night with all you guy's.

There are some plans for the New Year to try and get gaming back into the community, especially Friday night gaming!

I also have some good ideas for community fun and entertainment.

Help Handshakes Beat Halo: Reach on Legendary game night.

Yes, starting tonight you'll be able to help me experience the final chapter in the Halo story by dying bravely and endlessly with me against the Covenant hordes.

I'll be online at 9:30 PM your time (4:30pm EST). If you want to be a part of this Reach shakingly important event, be online and in Halo: Reach at any point tonight and I'll throw you an invite*.

*: Assuming you are already in my friends list. If you aren't in my friends list, shoot me a friend request and we'll sort that out.

If this is too late of notice then I'll bump this event to Thursday. I'll bump this to whenever, but by gum I'm going to get you folk to drag me over the finish line in this game one way or another.

I will help you shakes, i have  afeeling i have some unfinished business that i need to accomplish tonight.... i can't think of it, but it's bugging me.

Rather than think to hard and find a few jobs for myself i will bulldoze my way through Legendary with you.

On a side note, i've been learning to run through Nightfall in 5mins.

It was great fun, i found it harder 2-player coop than i did Solo. What with the strange lag i only get in campaign, more enemies and dodgy checkpoints.

Shakes was my suicidol though and did some amazing wraith destroying like the grunts that run in with plasma grenades in their hands!

Alright, time for Help Handshakes Beat Halo: Reach on Legendary game night - PART DEUX.

DAY: Thursday, December 30.
TIME: 9:30 PM BRIT TIME (4:30 PM EST).
WHAT: A continuing coop playthrough of Halo: Reach on Legendary difficulty. We can start on whatever level the party wants, but in lieu of preferences we will start where my game left off.
WHO: Open to anybody who wants to help defend Reach against the invading Covenant scum. Despite the playthrough being on a high difficulty, no amount of prerequisite gamer skill is required. We will die. A lot. It's all good.
HOW: Send me a message before the event OR let me know in this forum OR Log-in to Xbox Live around the previously specified time and join my party.

I probably won't be home until after 8pm EST (1am GMT) tonight.  If you're still online when I get home, I'll power through a couple chapters with you.

Some areas are harder in co-op than solo since the AI seems to improve and multiply accordingly.  There were a few situations that I just ran through ninja-style just to get the next checkpoint.
