There were a few situations that I just ran through ninja-style just to get the next checkpoint.

New Alexandria, Nightclub, Hunters - FTW

lol  stupid slow Hunters.  Never even saw me.   ;)

Failed

I had to kill one of them on Legendary with a Needle Rifle and a Plasma Pistol, only then would the back one move his ass so i could run past

Sambo stepped up and helped me turn the tide against the Covenant. For a glimpse of how it went: On our last mission (the one where you defend Halsey's lab with a bunch of useless automated turrets) we collectively died 106 times.

I ended up muting myself about halfway through the game as the difficulty rendered my speech rather sailor-like. My apologies to Sambo for the silent treatment!

One thing is for sure, in these later levels they cut you so little slack that there isn't much room for error/messing about. And let me tell you, those turrets that shoot the explodey green stuff... Pure evil.

hijacking a banshee makes that level much easier, although you may need to jack 2 or 3 and reload some checkpoints if you get Plasma Pistoled.

The last level is ridiculously hard, 108 times will be nothing compared to that level.

Lukehi

I'm so close I can taste it...having a coffee for the final push.  Removed 3 of the final 5 elites and the engineer its taken me 3 hours so far for the 'Pillar of Autumn'.

I'm tired and my hands and aching/going into shock but I'm determined to do this tonight!

Lukehi

Well as always and 5 minute break with coffee and biscuits saves the day again...done it, dont know how many times I died on that final level but its an absolute bitch!

Shakes, if I can do this solo then anyone can, just keep on truckin' and you'll do it.

top work Luke, those last few zealots are a bitch, i kept the sniper just for them and killed them pretty easy once i worked a good tactic. Sticky Grenade and 2 Sniper Bullets = dead. Was just tough getting the first sticky and escaping before the other zealots kill you. Checkpoint and repeat.

Sambo went and hid, While I turned the tide against the Covenant.

Fixed. ;D

Was good fun Shakes, Except when we managed to get through the nightclub after a complete sprint for me to find you was away in the chopper, With me left standing. ;D

It has given me the Legendary bug though, So I'm going to try and complete the game on Legendary but not by myself, I'll definitely need a team, Volunteers?

Failed

meeeeeee!!!! ofcourse,  i saw you playing before but you had a guest so i didn't bother you

Handshakes

You can count me in, Sambo.

Ivan

Hey all!
I'm not only new on Fahrenheit but also xbox live. Halo Reach is awesome and i am definately up for some custom ( private party) games but i would'nt mind just hooking up in a 2 vs. 2 ( even 1 vs. 1  ) just to get used to the maps and get a few tips from you guys.
I suppose this is one of the main reasons i joined. Being hammered on a random match with random people is boring me now :-).
My gamer tag is Lundubh, feel free to add me, i think i only have 1 or 2 of you guys so far.
Has nobody posted anything up for halo since december then?

Failed

Hey Ivan, we have had some coop sessions going about on campaign with Sambo, Shakes and a few others.

Also Friday 14th is Halo: Reach night where a few of us will play some casual Custom Games and just have a good time. I'll send you an FR and a reminder of Friday.

Ivan

Hey Failed that sounds great, thanks, i have no plans for fri. night
