Failed

She was gonna be a big 3 in March, so many terrific memories and she E74'd today, December 26th at 3:45pm.

i've lost xbox's before, 3 white xbox have all died on me, but never my Elite, she was the one that'd always be there for me and never let me down ....

Merry Christmas Failed :( :( :( *sobs uncontrollably*

Apart from being distraught, i will now have to buy a new xbox slim .... it won't be the same though. Dunno what i'm gonna do about taking my HDD to work ... suppose i  can't now and will have to have 2 accounts and 2 different saves for games. Unless i buy 2 xbox slim ..... which i'm partial todo and maybe Kinect and several new games to make me feel better.

Bad news mate, i've had three white deaths so far too.   :(

Two Slim 360's sounds pretty good, the Kinect part certainly doesn't.   :)

Handshakes

I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment's gone.
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes a curiosity.

Dust in the wind.
All they are is dust in the wind.

Yet another Xbox leaves us before it's time. Damn you, Microsoft. Damn you...
Your mom!

Sorry about that, but its a good excuse for a slim though!

It's always sad when a console dies. My thoughts are with you in this troubling time.

You could also buy a cheap USB stick and transfer your saves onto that to take with you, btw.

I used a usb stick to transfer important things like game data and profile info from my old premium to my new slim

No existing warranty? I know it's a hassle, but maybe worth a shot.... Sorry to hear, man.  :-\

I had my console sent out earlier this year after it got hit with a RROD. Process took about 3 weeks, but received a new(refurb. most likely) box and RROD extended warranty for 3 more years.*

*Pardon my ignorance, but this is all U.S. based speak, not sure what the situation is with regards to the RROD issue in other spots.

Most people would consider this a bonus, I'm sure.

Apparently MS now only offer the obligatory one year warranty on consoles, and have since the launch of the slim, looks like you got yours at the right time.   :)

It's 3 years from the manufacturing date which is 13/10/2007, so it's too old and would cost me £95 for them to fix.

Failed

Went to check prices today for slims, £200 everywhere, so gonna check the retail park tomorrow see if i can get any better, if not i will fork out...

need one anyway for a Hao: Reach competition on wednesday.
