NO
say it aint so

how much more could they ruin a classic piece of 80's cinema ?

He's also set to star in a Grease remake but Grease was sh*t so i'm not bothered about that.  This however would be an insult.

Enjoy The Best Of The King Of Fighters Movie

If you thought the recent Street Fighter movie was bad, spare a thought for the King of Fighters movie, which is even worse.

Not that this is a bad thing. It looks so bad that it's worth a watch, if friends and booze were involved. Just...leave your feelings for King of Fighters - and Maggie Q - at the door.

Poor Ray Park.  Hollywood just has no idea what to do with you.

Kevin McCarthy, Star of Original Invasion of Body Snatchers, Dies

"Can't you see, everyone?! They're here already! You're next!"

Kevin McCarthy, who issued that frantic warning in the 1950s sci-fi classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, died Saturday.. He was 96.

McCarthy was nominated for a 1951 Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Death of a Salesman, and employed in enough TV shows and movies to leave behind one of IMDb.com's lengthier pages.

But no single screen credit of McCarthy's left a greater legacy than Body Snatchers.

The low-budget, low-tech, black-and-white flick, in which McCarthy reaches the unbelievable conclusion that his small-town friends and neighbors have been coopted by space aliens and turned into unfeeling pod people, was named by the American Film Institute as one of Hollywood's all-time best sci-fi films.

Viewed as a product of its era's McCarthyism, but tapping into a timeless paranoia, Body Snatchers has been remade three times, most recently in 2007, via Nicole Kidman's The Invasion. McCarthy, a working actor to the end, cameoed in the 1978 version, also titled Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

New Resident Evil CGI film announced

Capcom has announced a sequel to CGI film Resident Evil: Degeneration. It will be called Resident Evil: Damnation.

The film is in production now and aims for a 3D release in Japan in 2012.

Like in Degeneration, the main character will be Leon S. Kennedy. Other than that, no plot details were divulged.

Resident Evil: Degeneration, released in January 2009 in the UK, has now shipped more than 1.6 million DVDs around the world. The film made JPY 40 million at the Japan Box Office (£311,183).

The previous big-screen Resident Evil films fared much better. Their combined income was $380 million.

Christopher Nolan Confirms Batman 3
Exclusive: Nolan says he's set to direct

You may have guessed, you may have assumed it, but until now we hadn't had confirmation from the studio or the man himself that Christopher Nolan would be back to direct Batman 3 / The Dark Knight 2 (or whatever we're calling it). But our Dan Jolin talked to the man himself earlier today, and got it straight from Nolan himself.

"It's becoming inevitable, I'll put it that way," says Nolan. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I'm pretty excited about what we're doing so... If I haven't announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I'm doing it."

Hang on, that's not 100% clear: so we can safely assume you're directing?

"I think you can at this point, yes."

So as of right now, Nolan will return. You may also have spotted the "getting it all figured out" there: when we asked Nolan what he was busy with as we called, the answer was that he's working on Jonathan Nolan's script for the film. In other words, there is a script! Things are slowly taking shape!
