Just been sent a link for the new Paranormal Craptivity 2 trailer, if you haven't seen the first film, don't bother, it's completely and utterly sh*t, no scares at all and the new ending was only shot for the inevitable sequel, stupid bloody Spielberg, Dead Space is far more scary than that crap and you all already know my thoughts on that.   ;D

Anyway, heres the trailer for anyone thats interested.

I enjoyed the first Paranormal Activity.  I saw a few months before they rereleased it and the world went apesh**.

I thought it was like an indie Drag Me To Hell, which I also liked.   :)

Paranormal Activity was awesome, I waited to see that in my own house with the lights, was extra freaky! will wait for number 2 on download as well

I guess it was just me that didn't like it then, it's pretty much the worst horror film i've seen in recent memory, completely devoid of scares, not even one single jumpy moment in there either, awful movie, i'll stick to watching Japanese, Korean and Thai horror movies, American stuff doesn't even come remotely close to the majority of those movies.

Your right there, Asian horror is pretty scary... but there just is this element to PA which just freaks me the frak out.... not sure if it was the first of it's kind in the horror genre but it was pretty scary, I almost slept with the light on  :'(

I think the 'hype' killed it, because everyone was expecting some kind of Oscar-winning horror movie.  Fortunately, I saw it before the ad campaign took over the internet.

I also watched it alone, in my home, in my bed, with the lights off, around 2am.   ;D

You sir I bow to! I was too much of a p*ssy to watch it on my own, I made my girlfriend sit through it as well.

Which Paranormal Craptivity ending do you prefer?  Despite not liking the movie I preferred the original 2007 ending as opposed to the way too obvious reshot endings.

SPOILER ALERT!

I've only seen the ending where the police show up.  Personally I liked how it ended with a very frank/realistic type of scenario.  It kind of gives you that feeling that "Maybe this could really happen?"

I searched online and read the descriptions of the other endings.  I like the sort of clever (perhaps unintended?) humor of the demon killing the girlfirend the same way the boyfriend threatened to kill the demon.

The "HEY JUMP AT THE CAMERA!!!" ending didn't really make sense to me.  Maybe I have to see it.  I understand it's an obvious setup for a sequel, but why the hell would the demon jump at the camera?  And how did they film him/her/it carrying the boyfriend's body up the stairs?  I really need to go watch this ending ...

I prefer any ending because it meant the film had finished. I scare really easily and this didn't scare me at all
Can't wait for Shenmue 3

I hate jokes that rely on visual imagery.

I've had it right up to here with them.

The second one looks scarier. But I might not be able to watch it. I shall have to make sure the baby is unharmed before I do :-[

I can guarantee, right now, without having seen the movie or any other footage other than what's in the trailer, the sequel will not be scary at all, if anything, as with 99% of sequels, it will be even worse than the crappy original.  ;D

Ok.  I just watched the "HEY JUMP AT THE CAMERA!!!" ending.  That's not at all what I had visualised when I read it.  Why carry a body up a flight of stairs just to throw it at a camera?  Why bite the lense of the camera?

Forget about the fact it's a movie, created by directors, writers, actors, etc.  Let's just say it is real, which is what the whole movie was going for.  If it was real, that ending would make it very difficulty for me to believe it.

The police ending is definitely my favorite.

With you on that mate.

GM is like the guy that eats so many hot foods that he can no longer taste it.  And then when you go out to eat, he complains that nothing is hot while everyone else is sweating their faces off.
