Warner Bros. remaking Keanu Reeves/Patrick Swayze 1991 action film 'Point Break'
Update of the 1991 cult classic being fast-tracked for production

Can't believe this, it's bad enough re-visitin'The Thing' but now this.  I swear to God if they go near 'Top Gun' someone will pay dearly!

QuoteParamount Pictures is feeling the need for speed again.

According to Vulture, the studio has officially has made offers to producer Jerry Bruckheimer ("Pirates of the Caribbean") and director Tony Scott ("The Taking of Pelham 123") to develop a sequel to 1986's "Top Gun."

Christopher McQuarrie will pen the script and Tom Cruise is slated to return, albeit in limited capacity, as Maverick.

McQuarrie's rep confirmed to EW.com Thursday that the screenwriter had, in fact, been approached to write the film.

They're also giving the original Top Gun the 3D treatment and re-releasing it in theaters early next year.

At least Bruckheimer & Scott are on board seeing as they made the first one, I have no more positives, Kenny Loggins soundtrack again maybe? I'm spent!  :)

Fifth Resident Evil Film To Include Barry And Leon

Director of the Resident Evil movies, Paul S. Anderson, has incorporated fan requests for the upcoming fifth movie, Resident Evil: Retribution. His wife and star of the series, Milla Jovovich, recently shared some tweets which reveal the new additions to the cast as well as the setting and biological threat.

Fans of awkward voice-acting and altar boy hairdos will be pleased to learn that S.T.A.R.S. weapons expert Barry Burton and RPD officer Leon S. Kennedy have roles in the film. Ada Wong is also set to join the cast, labeled as an “organization” agent. I'll leave it up to you to guess how many double-crosses she throws down. Jovovich also revealed that the game will take place in Japan, and that the Las Plagas infection from RE 4 will be the main threat.

This movie is set to star bizarro versions Chris & Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Leon S. Kennedy, and Ada Wong.

Additional characters to the RE Film franchise can't fix the morbid fact that Mila Jovovich is still dragging the Alice character's corpse through each scene.  I was done with her after the first film when the franchise became more about showcasing her centrally and less and less about zombies and ripped any potential for horror out of the equation.

Ashton Kutcher's Two And A Half Men Debut Draws 28 Million Audience
Charlie Sheen's replacement pulls record figures...

Ashton Kutcher's first appearance on US sitcom Two and a Half Men attracted an astonishing 28 million viewers - a record for the CBS show.

Kutcher replaces Charlie Sheen, who became embroiled in a controversial war of words with show creator Chuck Lorre back in March.

The episode drew a demographic score of 10.3 - a truly astronomical figure, and double the average acheived during Sheen's final series.

Sheen had predicted the show would struggle without him, but those words now seem to be futile.

Proving to be a good sport, the 46-year-old watched the show at home with friends, Tweeting: "Surrounded by friends and watching the premier of Two and a Half Men. Odd... But cool..! So far a lot of laughs!!"

Sheen has publicly wished Kutcher the best of luck for the upcoming series.

Handshakes

Your mom!

Karl Urban returns to Riddick franchise

Awesome.  I didn't even know they were making another Riddick movie.  I thought the first 2 were underrated.

GamerMan316

Human Centipede was awful, I expect the sequel to be worse, the BBFC have already banned it over here, spoil sports!

Failed

hell yeh, love the Riddick franchise, gonna have to do the games sometime!

GamerMan316

Pitch Black was awesome, Riddick wasn't too bad, i've got the 360 game but not tried it yet, Escape From Butcher Bay was one of my favourite games on the old Xbox, fantastic title.   :)
