George Lucas talks Indy 5
He's still looking for his MacGuffin

Following Steven Spielberg’s comments about a possible fourth Indiana Jones sequel, George Lucas has also come out to confirm that the fifth film is coming along nicely.

According to an interview conducted by Vulture, Indy 5 is very much on Lucas’s horizon, provided he can find a suitable MacGuffin to fit with what they’ve come up with so far.

“I told [Spielberg] about the story, but I really haven’t found the MacGuffin yet,” he said. “I mean, I know what it’s about, but I just have to find a MacGuffin that fits into the arena we’re working in.”

Lest we forget, this is what Lucas came up with the last time he put his thinking cap on…

To be honest, we’re really not sure we want to see any more Indy after Crystal Skull. Taking aside everything else, Harrison Ford was looking creaky back in 2008, so goodness knows how he’d fare a few more years down the track.

However, it looks as though a fifth film is going to happen whether we like it or not. Remember folks, we’ll always have the original trilogy. They can’t take that away…

Looks like a gateway to the Expendables - didn't get into the first film, don't know why...just felt too gloss and special effects heavy. This looks to have a bit more bad-assery.  :D

The first GI Joe movie was a cheesefest.  I might have liked it when I was 10, but silly PG13 one-liners with phoned-in action doesn't hold my attention today.

I'm willing to allow myself to be a little excited about Retaliation.  At least I know it can't get any worse .... right?   :-\

I liked it for what it was - but I really felt that since it was pitching to an audience who knew GI Joe from being kids, it should've been a little more grown up. Transformers managed it after all. Amusing watch, never the less!

Jurassic Parky

Speaking of Transformers, I can't believe that in the latest film..
When Ironhide died. Nobody acknowledged his death afterwards. Not even an afterword from Optimus! >:(
BackupLight

When I watch it in the next week or two, I'll click your spoilers button. ;)

Good point, I was too busy soaking up all the Cole Train action to notice!   ;D

Jurassic Parky

It should've been named Cole Train The Movie Feat. Alien Robots!
