Gears 2 Annex & Submission Achievements

Quite a few of us still need these achievements and after discussing it last night with Marty, Dfuse, Fizz and Robo, we thought we should start a thread for anyone wanting to try and boost the achievements.  They can be done in Social which will make them easier providing there are 10 of us, the bots are super annoying on these game modes, far more that Warzone & Guardian bots that's for sure.

After reading some other forums it seems possible for two teams of five to find eachother as long as we're in the same match type of course.  Both teams can search for a match and if we get eachother we can stay in the match so everyone can get the required achievement, if not we back out and keep looking, it might take a while but it's certainly worth a try.  So if anyone fancies trying it one night or over a few nights sometime, post below.

If I get a few days chance to practise and get used to  playing Gears (I had a few problems with what little time I had with Gears 1) before we do it, I'd definitely be up for it.

As discussed yesterday I already have the achievements but since numeorus people here have helped me with multiple acheivements over the years I'd be more than willing to help with these, assuming I'm around count me in.

I suggest someone messages Dark Master and AJ (since they no longer post) and ask them if they'd be willing to help too. I'm sure we must be able to get 10 together.

You won't need to practice if it's 5 vs 5, other than shooting the "flag" in submission no gunfire will be required!

if i can do it-anyone can, sayin that ive stepped up my game a lot recently, the other night for example, awesome, i think its craigs influence, his awesomeness has obviously rubbed off on me

count me in for sure, i only need 1 map for the annex cheeve so at a push and with a bit of luck i could do that in a ranked match, but the submission cheeve has been looking pretty impossible to me recently especially as it's my least favourite game type. If i could get those two cheeves i could quite easily get the other four i need with little to no problems meaning i could finally get 100% completion on gears 2 before gears 3 comes out.

oh btw, i will be helping legion with gow 2 tonight, think i will ease him in with training grounds or easy horde if anyone wants to join, will be back about half 9-again, so feel free to jump in , damn work, why the hell did i volunteer-i need help, my brain needs seriously testing

Training Grounds is single player only I think so Horde would be your best bet.

Just messing about with bots on Annex and got an easy 2-0 win on Canals so I only need one more map for the Annex achievement, only i'm not sure what map!
