Site Down & Host Errors

Our web host (Just Host) is currently upgrading their systems. They have been for a while, but it hasn't affected our site very noticably until recently (the 1+ hour outage last night).

This should only be a temporary and rare occurance, but may happen again until Just Host completes their upgrades. If you see the site is down, don't panic. It will return shortly. If you notice it being down for more than a couple of hours, feel free to email me at webmaster@360fahrenheit.com, which actually sends a text to my phone, and I'll contact Just Host to find out what's going on.

no worries Neato, think it was mainly the UK users who were effected as the non-GMT peeps were still asleep.

It took me around 2 hours to log in this afternoon, it's happened a couple of times before.

i have had it happen too, but tbh i just thought it might be neato fiddling about with the site as it only seemed to last for a little while, or my net connection was playing up again

The recent downtime wasn't my fault, but I will be doing some site maintenance this Spring. If we're lucky, a new feature or two will be added, but mostly it's just security and behind-the-scenes boring stuff that I haven't had time to do.

The site has been experiencing some problems today. Apparently a lot of other sites are migrating to JustHost, maybe due to the flood of recent hacker attacks. Unfortunately, JustHost was not prepared for the increased traffic, and it's overloading the server our site is located on.

JustHost will be moving our database (or others) to a different server. Don't worry, this is all behind-the-curtain stuff that won't affect anything you see. The transfer should be complete by the end of tomorrow, but considering we're not the only site having issues, it may take a little longer. We'll be up & running soon enough.

Some access issues as of late. Ok via mobile just not at usual spot - suspecting it's related to a posting going sideways a week or so ago causing an IP blockage... Activating the Neato Signal!
