You can get the master key as any class. Heavy armor and health are overrated, they're only going to marginally help you.

Getting invaded doesn't happen often, it's pretty rare. It can be thrilling and frustrating when it does happen.

So a combat rogue isnt a bad idea then? What strength do you have to get to before you can start using swords in one hand?

Combat rogue should be fine, but I cannot stress enough the importance of having something like Soul Arrows to help you in the beginning.  One-handed swords should be available from the start.

Well just completed my first playthrough, really want to start new+ but after clocking in 40 hours on my first gonna give it a miss, got rage/fifa 12/gow3/forza 4 sitting there getting neglected.

Got  22/41 500+ achievements defeated all bosses etc mostly crafting and cov and alt end left to do im happy best game this year easily.

Quick question, when you finish and start a new + game do you keep your gear and mobs all scale up?

You keep everything, all you lose is key items. mobs do scale up, although not as much as i was expecting, they hit harder but still dropped fairly easily at the start of NG+ for me, maybe different further on.

Eleven hours into the game and I just rang the first bell. O.o

Tough game, but fun when taken seriously.

So, does anyone know if there is a way to link up with people you know in co-op or is it always random?

Only started but I did the prologue with a knight and now a pyromancer, I do like the Pyro better. Just getting used to the combat and controls, very responsive. Died quite a few times of course but loving it so far

This was my favorite game of the year. I have 117 hours logged in one of my characters and 85 logged in another. And the game came out in October. O.o
That said, I am quite authoritative if you ever need any help.
