I can't believe JT doesn't like BioShock?!?   :o

I absolutely hated Bioshock, I only completed it because I was laid up with a twisted ankle and had nothing better to do! I just really don't like 1st person games, they just feel wrong to me, the only 1st person game I can honestly say I enjoy is Bad Company 2, I like to see my character, I don't want to pretend to be him/her!

I didn't really like Bioshock either. I thought it was pretentious poop. Bioshock's only saving grace was that the broken upgrade system allowed me to complete the game using the wrench almost exclusively (I had to take out the old crossbow for the final boss).

What's that, a fire splicer? Ooooh, scary. COME GET SOME WRENCH, SUCKA!

LOL, I found it so repetitive, same 5 or 6 enemies and back and forth over the same bit of the map over an over again, was just really boring!

Thank god for the new Tomb Raider, helped me de-stress after a tough week! More of the same please

Not trying to pit one game against another here, because I'm a believer most games have some kind of redeming quality, but BC2/CoD/etc. (or more popular FPS) have no memorable enemies to speak of (surprisingly killing generic armed forces hasn't gotten old enough to sink these franchises) and most set pieces look exactly the same (there's a jungle scene, a destroyed urban environment, your helicopter scene, rinse, repeat, etc..). It's a trapping for most the gaming industry, unfortunately.

Narrative, setting, and atmosphere kept Bioshock interesting to me, some gameplay elements weren't probably the best in the world, but hate's a strong word I only reserve for the likes of most film based games. I'm looking at you Terminator: Salvation and Ironman.  >:(

Failed

i liked Terminator Salvation. I dislike Oblivion, Fallout, RDR and Fable.... hates a strong word though.

I hate Fuzion Frenzy 2.

Lesson of the thread: Hate's a strong word, and relative apparently.

BTW - nice 25G sig Failed - ;)

I wish he was, as a zombie of course, then I may have enjoyed the game more by pumelling his f***ing head in!
