I always go for a male charachter unless I am playing online. I just prefer to play a man in a game especially if that man is commander shephard. I would play with him all day

If Gears of War 3 is to the be the last in the series, theres a very good chance that one of the main characters will be killed off, so who do you think will be killed off?  I still think Dom will die along with the third Carmine brother of course

WARNING, GEARS 1 & 2 SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this is a thread to discuss who will probably appear and live or die in the next Gears.

CHARACTERS:

Marcus: The protagonist doesn't usually die, and when he does, he dies at the very end of the game. But surely Epic wouldn't do this.
SURVIVAL RATE: Very Likely.

Dizzy: If he appears again, he probably won't do much fighting and he will likely try to save his life rather then be heroic or anything. Seriously, if he was going to die, he would have died in GOW2. But if he does die, it would be from his rig blowing up or something of that fashion. There is no real impact or reasoning for his death.
SURVIVAL RATE: Likely

Baird: I'm sure no one wants to see Baird die, and since he serves as the mechanic for the group he would need a replacement if he did, but I doubt Epic wants to get rid of him. On a side note, if Cole dies, Baird would probably go with him.
SURVIVAL RATE: Moderate

Cole: This is the Cole Train, baby! Also, token black guy. He also serves as one of the stronger guys in Delta, but if he died that would just increase the impact. Like I said before, if Cole dies, Baird is going with him.
SURVIVAL RATE: Moderate

Hoffman: The long time war veteran, Hoffman. The man has lost the very thing that he was defending, Jacinto. I can't say much about him, but it would be upsetting to see him go. Although it would be interesting to see how his death would effect Marcus and Aya's relationship.
SURVIVAL RATE: Moderate

Dom: Marcus's best friend, an elite commando dude and a male widow. He lost his wife to the locust, and now much like Tai his only reason to live is to kill locust. I don't have a doubt in my mind that if he could kill the locust queen at the cost of his own life, he would. Imagine that final moment between him and Marcus, where Dom decides to finally kill her with a bomb or something at the cost of his own life. Yeah this would make for an interesting end to Gears 3, but... Well, who knows.
SURVIVAL RATE: Slim

Clay Carmine: Ah yes, the third Carmine brother. My hope would be that he would replace one of the current main characters if they died, and instead of being an enthusiastic newbie would be a serious veteran. Another thing I hope is that he meets up with Marcus and they go on a mission to save his other brother called Saving Private Carmine. The fourth brother could be the mechanic to replace Baird, but i'm getting ahead of myself. Chances are, he will die, because his character was created to do so. Lets hope that instead of dieing in some foolish manner like his other brothers, he at least goes down in a heroic act towards the end of the game.
SURVIVAL RATE: Very Slim

I was super sad when they killed Carmine in Gears 2. I was playing through the game coop with a buddy, and we were so sure that he was going to die but he stayed alive mission after mission. When they finally did kill him it seemed like a low blow considering all the other crap he survived up to that point.
