Unfortunately Microsoft have been unable to send us enough
BETA codes for the launch of the Gears of War 3 BETA.

We are currently awaiting the next shipment of codes which
is due to arrive early next week.

As soon as they arrive we will despatch them to you.

Trenches is a pretty solid map, wonder why we've got it early?

It didn't seem like the servers were back up, i only played because marty was back from france.

looks like the dedicated servers are still down in the uk unfortunately, due to 'testing' which is fair enough it is a beta after all. still bloody annoying as hell though, but you never know they might be back up tonight. also rod tweeted 20 hours ago that as a surprise for the beta players, new map trenches has been added. also the 1 next to somebody's name on the scoreboard means they are in party chat, and nat type unknown does not mean there are no dedicated servers, it is just an issue with the beta and will be sorted for the retail release. the crossed swords next to someone's name on the scoreboard means they are your nemesis, meaning they have killed you 3 times or more.

that is all.
