Played a few games last night with Lee, still a bit laggy but we did well, got a ton of Retro Lancer kills too so the 100 kills with that weapon once i've played the 90 matches will be a breeze, not too keen on the new maps just yet though!

I had my first game on Checkout last night and went 1 and 10 .... i had the bad luck of running into an amazing team on a map i didn't know.

I luckily did much better on sunsequent attempts and when i went back to Public from Ranked :-/

I like Trenches and Gnasher over Sawed-Off. Think i will try the Retro tonight.

me, dave and dark master played in the early hours this morning, i think the servers are back- i did really well, shotgun seems to be working well, and we won 3 in a row on koth

Me and Lee won a bunch of matches last night too, didn't bother with KOTH though as i'm not a fan of the gametype. Had a couple of 18 and 2 games which is always good, just gonna unlock what I to for the retail version and not bother with it after that.

must admit, never liked koth, servers down it was even worse, servers up- love it, guess its personal choice, i got so bloody peed off last night, i switched it off, 2 am dave says servers are back on for now- so i put it back on, glad i did

If you can get a good p2p connection when the servers are down then you're fine but you can't rely on that, for me the servers have only been on on the first day last Monday and it played great, it's been patchy since but we're already used to that thanks to Gears 2 :-)

I'm loving King of the Hill.

I'm still not very good, but King of the Hill allows me to use my deaths to my team's advantage (distracting the enemy).
