Epic is hosting a MLG event in Raleigh on Friday. There will be an exhibition match of Gears 3 MP between the MLG Gears 2 champions against Team Epic.

The matches will be live streamed on http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/ on the Halo 3 stream at 8:15PM.

BTW: Did you know Gears 3 went GOLD on Thursday.

I love watching the opening cinematics (one reason to buy Dynasty Warriors yearly) but i think i can wait a month and get the actual game, be nice to watch it on a big TV in 1080 rather than an ickle YT embed.

After the last midnight launch I tried to attend a couple years ago, I vowed never again.  I'll be picking up my copy the day after release ... or at least before the weekend.

I've queued up twice before, both for COD games I wasn't actually that bothered about getting! This time I'll be doing it for the right reasons, they'd better not sell my copy before I get there!!!
