Atleast it'll add some depth of customisation which was sorely missing in Gears 2.

I spotted this today (it's old [July]) but i havn't seen it before and was like *gulp*

.. and LOL, Marcus has 19 bullets left. GO BRUMAK!!

Brumaks always remind me of:

Some quality background music during warzone/execution matches, you'll know when you hear it.   :)

Gears 3 story, map and co-op DLC planned

Gargantuan Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War 3 launches today, and developer Epic Games has promised to release substantial downloadable content.

Epic will, post launch, be "constantly" working on title updates for the shooter. The team released six for Gears of War 2.

Epic is also working on downloadable content, including new maps and new "co-operative experiences".

In an interview with The Telegraph, Epic design director Cliff Bleszinski confirmed that Gears of War 3 campaign DLC is also planned.

It will not, however, feature series stars Marcus and Dom.

"One thing I can tell you is that you're not going to see Marcus or Dom or Cole in it," he said.

"I believe that DLC should be unique and cool, like Lost and the Damned, Gay Tony, Mad Moxie's Underdome Riot. All those kind of things. DLC's the place where you play and have fun. So that's one thing that's an indication of where things may be going in the future."

Microsoft sells a 2400 Point Gears of War 3 Season Pass, which grants buyers a 33 per cent discount on the first four DLC packs.

Meanwhile, Guy Welch, a Microsoft senior product manager, said he expects more than four million will be playing Gears of War 3 by the end of the week. 75 per cent of those, Microsoft reckons, will play the cooperative and multiplayer modes on Xbox Live.

Loving the bigger battlefields and better flanking options, genuinely feels like better with 3 players cover firing and one player sneaking round the back to cause havoc!

Cole Train scene was TEH FRAKKING AWESOME!!!

I've only played the campaign coop with a buddy so far, and it's been great.

One thing that strikes me so far is that the Lambent Locusts are no where near as fun to kill as regular Locusts. Most of the Lambent don't use cover, shoot this annoying explosive goo crap that downs you in 1 hit, and take 10000000000 bullets to kill. There are Lambent drones, but they always just explode when they die, which is no where near as satisfying as executing a Locusts. Also, the Lambent rely a ton on these incredibly annoying little spider things and exploding wretches, which just chase you all over and explode on you for tons of damage. The prologue and chapter 1 have you killing nothing but Lambent, and I was mighty tired of it by the end.

Then the regular Locusts came along and made it all better, of course.

So much variety of modes and cannot stop playing, also loving my new gears controller.
