thrashball was the map we cleared, good stuff. I used wretch>wretch>insert name regular locust>mauler sprinting up the middle as a paladin clearing what I could and shielding those behind>wretch (pick up the pieces)>corpser pwnge

Great fun. The sweetest thing was the wretch being sneaky and then pouncing, but laser barriers are a big issue.

Whats the radius for the Kantus' raise ability is it wide?

Not tried Beast yet either, not even finished the campaign yet though we finshed Horde the other night, great fun as always.

Practicing on bots atm , getting to know some of the new maps and weapons , growing on me, even checkout, trenches still has me stumped though!

Just "earned" my first Onyx medal.  It takes an stupidly short amount of time, about 15 waves of casual horde by yourself with two controllers to go from 0 progress to onyx.

Unplayable Gears of War 3 maps named in leaderboards
Tease insight into future DLC?

Tucked away in the leaderboards for Gears of War 3 are the names of three maps that cannot currently be played.

As reported via Joystiq, the maps Rust Lung, Azura, and Blood Drive are all named but totally inaccessible at present. The obvious guess is that they'll be coming in the form of DLC.

Epic has already confirmed that the first of its downloadable packs will be arriving in November, when buyers of the game's Season Pass will begin to reap the benefits of their advanced purchase.

Two of these maps, however, did turn up in a leaked early version of Gears of War 3 that slipped online back in July. Both Azura and Rust Lung can be seen being played in YouTube videos by those naughty few who downloaded the rip.

All eyes on November's DLC release.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Gears 3 went straight in at number 1 in the UK All Formats chart, it's the biggest launch so far this year and also sold more in it's first week than both Gears 1 & 2 combined, nice.
