I'm beginning to think that the Seriously 3.0 achievement may be a bit too difficult!!!

I'm going to get all Bronze but not all Onyx

I've been playing game after game of private matches to get my weapon kills up and I've finally got 2000 Lancer kills, but in doing so I've realised that I'm not having any fun any more. There's no way in hell I can be arsed to try and get the Onyx for Hammerburst kills, I hate that gun, or for playing Wingman which is tedious even in private matches and I'm starting to think I'm wasting my time playing all these private matches by myself. If I try and play online with randoms I invariably end up last with maybe 3 kills, it's so boring being killed over and over again by that f***ing gnasher shotgun, why did they bow to pressure and make it more powerful? I really enjoyed killing everyone with my sawed off in the first couple of weeks before the fanboys got all upset that it was too powerful. And then they go and put these stupid achievements in for prestiging not once, but twice! Really, do I wanna try and get to level 100 twice, it's a bloody chore trying to get there once!

We used to regularly get 5 of us together and go and take on some randoms online on Gears 2, but that just hasn't happened with Gears 3 and I'm really starting to lose interest

Soul Calibur V's due out in 10 days and Mass Effect 3 will be out in March so maybe my interest will return if I have a break for a bit.

Sounds like Gears 3 burnout to me, a break may do you good.

Personally, I haven't played Gears 3 MP since we last had a proper game night. Don't think I've even hit level 50 in the MP.   I mostly blame other games piling up, crying for attention.

Yeh, too many xmas games still about.

Gears can wait, we'll still be playing this in a years time, so don't worry about it. Take a break.

Everyone's got January apathy, lots of SP games about, no MP and such. We'll soon get our sh*t together and start playing more regularly.

I haven't played Gears in awhile either.  I've always preferred Horde to MP though.
