I'm on the same boat as Parky, I have the Season Pass and I'm expecting the next time I drop the disc in the tray there's going to be a large update waiting.

Oddly I had one game on Checkout this morning and got MVP with 11 kills and 4 deaths, my best game on Gears 3 so far (excluding Private of course)

I got my win on all FoN maps achievement earlier by going 15/3 on Raven Down including getting the final kill with exactly one second left, twas awesome!   

The guy I killed was bitching and moaning in the lobby straight after but I was laughing in a party with Lee and couldn't hear him raging, he then quit!

PAX East 2012: Gears of War 3 Rumoured Singleplayer DLC, Horde/Beast Versus Mode

At the Epic Games panel at PAX East, Cliff Bleszinski hinted at new downloadable content for Gears of War 3.

The DLC will expand on a character that didn’t get much story in Gears of War 3 and stated that the character is ‘everyone’s favorite‘. Could we being seeing more of Colonel Victor Hoffman or Bernadette Mataki? Maybe a storyline based around Dizzy before we met him? It appears that this DLC will be storyline based, like the RAAM’s Shadow DLC and being the 6th installment of DLC for the game could be the last. With each DLC also coming within 2-3 months of each other, we could be seeing this DLC around June-July time. Of course, this is all speculation.

A Horde/Beast Versus mode was also mentioned, this would clearly combine the two modes and players would battle it out as both sides. This would be an extremely fun game mode and it will be interesting to see how they do it if it is released as a game mode.

Finally managed to finish a solo run on Horde on Insane, got around 130,000 XP in the process.
