rip 'whispering' Ted Lowe. Ted Lowe, the voice of snooker for all those years, died yesterday at the age of 90. A shame he died on the first day of the world snooker championship final, cos now he won't get to see it. If you ever watched snooker in the 70's, 80's or 90's you will remember him fondly as i do, the best commentator ever, a great man and a sad day for snooker fans worldwide.

sad indeed, im sure we all have heard his enigmatic voice whether or not we have realised it, he will be sadly missed by all who had the privelidge of meeting him RIP

It's a shame that the 'Rule of 3' doesn't seem to specifically apply to notorious international criminals.  Now that would be a silver lining.
