Lots of crap for Kinect so far and pretty much all kids stuff, good to MS focusing on the Core!   ;)

That's disappointing.  I was really hoping to see some kind of unique use for Kinect in games I want to play.  Looks like I may be waiting a little longer to buy one.

They showed Star Wars Kinect and it looked extremely poor, awesome music though of course.   :)

Dance Central 2 looks good if you like that kind of stuff, I don't!

Halo 4 ended MS's show to the surprise of precisely ZERO people!!!!

It's the start of a new trilogy too.

BioShock Infinite and Skyrim just shown on GameTrailers, both looked good, doubt i'll bother with the latter, the former is a must have for me.

Overall about a B- on the presentation. Too much Kinnect software still feels like it's geared towards kids and the core games that are integrating it don't really seem like a 'must have' - even Mass Effect 3's voice recognition seems a bit forced. Although, Mass Effect 3 is a 'must have' in my book - primarily because of what the game is on its own.

It's not really integrated into the actual action on the screen, you read the response on the conversation wheel you want and Shepard voices his own response through the storyline. Reminds me of talking to an automated reply system whenever you call any kind of tech support.

Also, couldn't this voice recognition thing be done through sofware and the existing headsets?

Alright Sony, you're up in about 20mins. Get your sh*t straight...

I appreciate the work and important of E3, but watching socially awkward game developers breathing nervously in their mics while they stare out into a crowd of 1000 people really takes a toll on me.  I'm going to stop watching and just catch up on the highlights tomorrow.

ps.  I officially hate the name "PlayStation Vita".  It is not pleasant to say or hear.

Truth be told, it's like fingernails on a chalk board at times, my advice, just make a reel and run that biz from the get go. The whole demo-walkthrough concept is also a bit audience defeating, "Yo, stop talking, yes this scene is underwater, I can see what's going on!"  :P

And as it turns out the word Vita is a direct shortening for:

Apparently the name wasn't too popular back then either. ;)

Nintendo Introduces Wii-U at E3 2011 Conference:

That's the console, although the presentation didn't focus much on it, as the controller seems to be the star of the show.

Here's an image of that:

Wow.  The new Nintendo hardware looks impressive.

Even more impressive ... all of those rediculous rumors were true!?!?!   ;D

I'm as interested in that as I am Kinect!

Personally, I think it's good news. Not ready for a new "must-have" console.
