Path of Exile

What is Path of Exile?
Path of Exile (PoE for short) is an Action RPG with a fixed 3D view being made by Grinding Gear Games.  It is online and multiplayer, and will be free to play and download when the game launches.  It is currently in a closed beta.
Features include randomly generated loot and areas to explore, multiple difficulties, PVP, at least 5 classes, and many skills.

Did I say many skills?  Here is a 'Skill Forest' image from the game.  There are in game approximately 700 nodes soon to be over 750 to choose from, both active and passive skills.

Skills are also customizable, as well as equipment.

Because the title is free to play and download, the developer has chosen to have a cash shop.  However, this cash shop is cosmetic and account related items only, such as non-combat pets, character renaming/transfers, and emotes.  Nothing to give a character that pays money an advantage in gameplay, only in looks.

Signing up on their Website will give you a chance at a beta key.  Keys are drawn randomly every 25 minutes.  Forum posters there have a 10x chance of getting a key.
I like my women how I like my coffee: ground up and in the freezer.

The doctors say his chances are 50/50... but there's only a 10% chance of that.

Good lord.  If my OCD was any worse, I'd probably be unconscious right now.

There's currently a public stress test going on this weekend, if anyone is interested in trying it out.

I've been playing it for awhile now and find it to be really enjoyable.
